ELEKproTEK Compensation & Benefits Policy

1. Purpose

This policy ensures a fair, transparent, and performance-driven pay structure that rewards skill, responsibility, and contributions to ELEKproTEK’s success. Compensation includes a base salary with performance-based incentives, ensuring financial stability while encouraging productivity and excellence.

2. Salary Structure

Total annual compensation is capped at $195,000 for these four positions.

3. Payroll & Payment Terms

  • Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule.
  • Bonuses are evaluated quarterly and distributed based on performance.
  • Annual performance reviews determine eligibility for raises and promotions.
  • Raises are not guaranteed but will be considered based on performance metrics.

4. Performance Bonus Criteria

Customer Satisfaction Bonus Maintaining an average customer rating of 4.8/5+ $500–$1,500 per quarter
Sales / Upsell Bonus Bringing in additional business (upsells, service agreements) $500–$3,000 per quarter
Safety & Compliance Bonus Zero safety violations or failed inspections $500–$2,000 per quarter

5. Career Growth, Raises & Promotions

5.1 Annual Performance Reviews

Each employee will receive a yearly performance review to assess their contribution and determine eligibility for raises.

5.2 Raise Tiers (Performance-Based)

5.3 Apprentice to Journeyman Promotion Criteria

  • Pass the official Journeyman Electrician Exam, OR
  • Have 4 or more years of verified electrical experience

6. Paid Time Off (PTO) & Holidays

  • Full-time employees receive 10 PTO days per year.
  • PTO must be requested at least 2 weeks in advance, except in emergencies.
  • ELEKproTEK observes New Years Day, MLK Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Employees working on holidays may receive a floating PTO day.

7. Terms & Adjustments

  • This policy is reviewed annually and may be modified based on company financials and business needs.
  • Employees will be notified in writing of any changes to compensation.
  • ELEKproTEK reserves the right to withhold bonuses or raises for misconduct, policy violations, or financial hardship.
