At ELEKproTEK, we're not just a company — we’re a movement bridging the gap between electricians, automation, controls, and future technologies. Our onboarding process prepares you to succeed, grow, and make an impact.

Step 1: Interview Process

Your journey starts with two interviews:

  • Interview 1: Culture Fit – Understanding your drive, mindset, and values

  • Interview 2: Technical Assessment – Reviewing your skillset, problem-solving, and communication

Step 2: Skills Test

We conduct role-based assessments to evaluate your readiness for fieldwork and technology-based tasks.

Step 3: Offer Letter

If you're a great fit, you’ll receive an official offer letter via email, including job details, compensation, and expectations.

Step 4: Pre-Hire Documents

Please submit the following securely:

  • Government-issued ID

  • Social Security Card

  • Birth Certificate

  • Driver’s License

  • Background check and direct deposit authorization

Step 5: In-Office or Virtual Onboarding

  • Payroll & HR setup

  • Introduction videos (hosted on our YouTube channel)

  • Meet our Service Department team

  • Receive your uniform and safety gear

  • Review and acknowledge our Company Handbook

Step 6: Tool Training & Technology Setup

You’ll receive training and access to:

  • Google Calendar – Job scheduling and time management

  • ClickUp – Task and project tracking

  • RingCentral – Company calls, texts, and video communication

  • Company Website & Portal – For work orders, training, and more

Step 7: Safety Training

We take safety seriously:

  • OSHA-aligned training videos

  • PPE requirements

  • Electrical hazard awareness

  • Emergency protocols and job site safety

Step 8: Field Walkthrough (1–2 Weeks)

  • Work side-by-side with a Lead Technician

  • Gain real-world experience on active job sites

  • Get feedback, ask questions, and learn best practices

Step 9: Performance Milestones

We support your success through regular check-ins:

  • Week 1 Check-in

  • 30-Day Review

  • 60-Day Skills Assessment

  • 90-Day Evaluation & Opportunity for Raise
