ELEKproTEK Work Hours & Scheduling Policy
1. Purpose
With the transition to a salary-based structure, ELEKproTEK aims to implement a flexible, productivity-driven work schedule that ensures work-life balance, accommodates customer demand (including weekends), and maintains a 40-hour workweek.
This policy provides guidance on standard work hours, flexible scheduling, weekend work rotations, and on-call duties for salaried employees, with apprentices assigned to every rotating weekend shift alongside other technicians.
2. Flexible 40-Hour Workweek Structure
ELEKproTEK operates 24/7 services, meaning work schedules must adapt to customer demand. Employees will have flexible shifts while ensuring a 40-hour workweek.

5. Paid Time Off (PTO) & Vacation Scheduling

- Employees should coordinate with their team to ensure coverage before taking time off.
- Employees required to work on company holidays may receive a floating PTO day in exchange.
6. Adjustments & Exceptions
During busy project periods, schedules may be temporarily adjusted to meet demands. Personal schedule flexibility (e.g., starting earlier/later) can be arranged with management approval.
7. Terms & Compliance
- Employees are expected to adhere to this flexible scheduling policy while maintaining their job responsibilities.
- Repeated failure to meet schedule expectations may result in disciplinary action.
- This policy will be reviewed annually and adjusted based on company needs and employee feedback.
