1. Purpose
ELEKproTEK is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and workplace well-being. This policy outlines mandatory procedures and best practices to ensure a safe work environment for employees, clients, and the public.
2. Workplace Safety Policy
- All employees must follow **OSHA guidelines** and company safety protocols.
- Employees must **report any safety hazards or incidents immediately** to their supervisor.

3. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Policy

- PPE will be provided by ELEKproTEK, but employees must maintain their equipment.
4. Electrical & Job Site Safety Procedures
- All employees must **lock out/tag out (LOTO)** before servicing electrical equipment.
- Electrical work must be performed **only by qualified personnel**.
- Job sites must be **kept clean and free of hazards**.
- Unsafe conditions must be reported **immediately** to management.
5. Incident Reporting Policy
- All **injuries, near-misses, and safety violations** must be reported to a supervisor **immediately**.
- Employees must **fill out an incident report form** for all safety-related events.
- ELEKproTEK will investigate incidents to **prevent recurrence** and improve safety measures.
6. Drug & Alcohol Policy
- ELEKproTEK maintains a **zero-tolerance policy** for drug and alcohol use while on duty.
- Employees may be subject to **random drug and alcohol testing**.
- Any employee found working under the influence will be subject to **immediate termination**.
7. Workplace Violence & Harassment Prevention

- Harassment, discrimination, or workplace violence **will not be tolerated**.
- Employees should report violations immediately to **HR or management**.
8. Emergency Response Procedures
- Employees must **familiarize themselves with emergency exits** and evacuation plans.
- Fire extinguishers and first aid kits **must be accessible** at all job sites.
- In case of an emergency, employees must **follow company protocol** and **contact emergency services** if necessary.
9. Safety Training & Compliance
- All employees must **complete mandatory safety training** before working on job sites.

- Failure to complete safety training may result in suspension from job assignments.
